Upcycling Workshops

Upcycling workshops with New-U

New-U runs upcycling workshops for local community members
in Norwich and across North Norfolk.  These are free-of-charge for any
member of the public to participate in and offer a great platform to meet new
people and learn new skills.  At these workshops, you will be able to make
rugs, wreaths, canes, bunting, cushions, decorations and other craft items from
pre-loved clothing.

There will be regular rag rugging workshops taking place in Norwich, at our Honestly Library in Castle Quarter on the second Tuesday of each month.  Please see our What’s
page for individual workshop times and dates. There is no
need to pre-book, just pop in and join us. New-U will provide all the materials
and tools needed to take part.

Our 2023 North Norfolk workshops were made possible with funding from North Norfolk District Council’s Arts and Culture Fund. Watch this space for details of additional workshops taking place in 2024
