New-U is fortunate to work with some fantastic partners, stakeholders, and funders who help us deliver our charitable mission. We are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to our work and the positive impact they help us create in the community.
Current projects
Thanks to vital funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we’re able to continue delivering our core aims for the long-term — supporting individuals through work placements and offering a range of community initiatives. This includes running our popular £1 clothing sales and creative upcycling activities, providing wider support for individuals looking to build confidence, skills, and connections and collaborating with stakeholders and partners for the continuous evolution of New-U.
Supporting our core aim, Comic Relief Community Fund enables us to continuing to offer flexible work placements to young adults aged 18–24 who are unemployed or economically inactive. These placements take place in our pre-loved clothing boutique in Norwich, helping participants gain confidence, skills, and experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.
