Bring in up to 10 good quality, clean, items you no longer wear (or have never worn)* into one of our shops.
In Castle Quarter (Level 2), Norwich we accept womenswear, menswear, **footwear, jewellery and accessories.
*We do not accept unwashed clothing. We are unable to take underwear, real fur and loungewear (such as PJs).
**Footwear must be new and unworn. We will accept shoes that have been worn, but (even if only worn once) they will be given 2 points only.
How to Swap & Shop
Exchange them for swap points
The amount of points you receive will be dependent on the quality and condition of each item. The better the item, the higher the points value (e.g. a quality high street brand top is worth approximately 4-6 swap points. If it is new with tags, the swap value may be even higher).
Your points will be recorded against your name ready for you to collect from the next opening day. There is no rush to collect your points, they are held on our database until you next pop into our Norwich shop.
Spend your points in store
Browse our many rails of beautiful quality clothing, each one priced with a token value where 25% will be paid for with pounds and the rest in points. We have a high turnover of stock, give change in the form of points and there is no time limit on point vouchers, so pop in regularly to update your wardrobe at minimal cost!
No points? No problem
If you don’t have enough swap points, or have nothing to swap, you can still shop with us in store. Everything is available to pay for entirely with cash/card – just half the swap points value to find the price, i.e. 8 swap points = £4 cash. We take cash and card.
Borrow
We know that sometimes you need smart clothing, but you may not want or be able to buy something that you only wear once. At New-U we offer clothing for FREE to anyone needing smart attire for any occasion. It could be a job interview, wedding, funeral or court appearance, click here to get in touch.

Guilt-free shopping that is helping to minimise the harmful effects of the textiles industry by re-using clothing as wearable items – time and time again!
BORROW
Do you have an interview coming up but have nothing suitable to wear? Maybe you need a suit or smart outfit for a wedding or funeral or perhaps a prom date? New-U offers smart clothing for FREE to anyone in need for any occasion. You can borrow clothing from us to wear once, launder and return or keep the item(s) if you will wear them again. Ask in store to find out more.

New-U is a UK registered charity set up to give individualised real life work experience placements to unemployed people to help them progress towards work or training. All items in our Norwich store can be purchased or swapped. Our eBay enables you to purchase items direct
