At New-U, we offer affordable fashion that combines sustainable style with social purpose. Our shop in Norwich city centre features a curated selection of quality pre-loved clothing and accessories.

Everyone’s welcome in our stylish and affordable boutique — but when you donate clothing, you become part of our pre-loved community and start earning loyalty points. It’s our way of saying thank you and rewarding you for helping us keep clothing in circulation and for supporting local people to build skills, confidence, and steps toward employment.

Our shop is open 10am – 4pm Tuesday – Saturday or you can with us online at our eBay and Vinted stores. Each time you visit, you can donate up to 10 items of clothes and accessories, supporting our charitable work and earning points to save 50% off your next shop.

SHOP AND SAVE
Here's how it works

DONATE

Bring up to 10 good quality, clean items of clothing or accessories to our shop in Castle Quarter (Level 2), Norwich

  • We accept womenswear, menswear, jewellery and accessories
  • We also accept footwear however worn shoes (even lightly worn) are accepted but will earn 2 points only.
  • We cannot accept underwear, used swimwear, or real fur.
  • We welcome donations over 10 items, but loyalty points are awarded for a maximum of 10 items per visit. For large donations (e.g. house clearances), please contact us at hello@new-ultd.co.uk.

EARN POINTS

We’ll sort your donation and assign points based on the quality and condition of each item—the better the item, the higher the points value.

For example, a high street brand top might earn 4–6 points, with new-with-tags items earning even more.

Points will be added to your account and ready to use on your next visit. Please note: items are sorted and pointed after drop-off, usually by our next opening day. There’s no rush to collect—your points stay on our system until you’re ready to spend them.

SHOP AND SAVE

Use Your Points for affordable, guilt-free shopping that helps reduce the harmful impact of fast fashion  keeping clothing in use, again and again.

Browse our rails of beautiful, quality pre-loved clothing and use your points to get up to 50% off. For example, a dress priced at £10 can be yours for 10 points and just £5.

We have a high turnover of stock and points never expire so there’s always something new to discover. Pop in regularly and refresh your wardrobe with affordable style for every season.

No points? No problem

If you haven’t donated with us yet, you’re still welcome to shop in-store or online. All items are clearly priced and available to purchase with cash or card — no points needed.

Children's clothing

We’re always happy to receive children’s clothing donations. While they don’t earn points, they go directly to our £1 Clothing Sales, helping local families access affordable children’s clothes.

Here's what our customers say about us...

"After losing quite a bit of weight I was left with several too large pieces of clothing in good condition and requiring a whole new wardrobe a few times over. The idea of donating to a worthy charity but also to be able to receive points towards my new wardrobe felt like a good deal to me."

"With fast fashion being so bad for the planet, swapping clothes is a really eco-friendly way to get new-to-you outfits, plus it means you can turn your old clothes into a new outfit. Really friendly staff, clean and easy to browse without getting frustrated, such a great idea!"
Regular customer and volunteer
“I find you a really useful resource. I gained a lot of weight recently and am much healthier, but don’t fit into most of my old clothes. It would cost so much to replace all that, all my casual clothes, work clothes, party outfits. Being able to change my wardrobe affordably is helping me feel more confident in change and working on my eating disorder. And it means all my old clothes don’t just get chucked in the bin, I still get value from them and someone else can enjoy them.”
I love New-U as it not only encourages recycling, but l have found some fantastic clothes and shoes that you can't get on the High street. People often comment "ooh, where did you get that?"

“This shop makes me feel so much better. I have health issues and not much money to spend on clothes and coming in here cheers me up. My husband came in yesterday, donated some clothes and left with 4 lovely shirts. My daughter loves it here too.”
