What a great jumble sale yesterday! 🎉 Nearly 400 items saved and rehomed with lovely new owners! 🌍❤️ Including these silver sandals, heading all the way back to #Southampton with this dedicated bargain hunter. She said she was visiting a friend and it just happened to be the same weekend as our jumble (again!), but we know what's really going on 😉

A huge thank you to everyone who came out! Not only did you score some amazing bargains, but you also helped us raise funds to continue our work at New-U. Together, we're supporting the long-term unemployed back into work and tackling textile waste! 🛍️👗💚

🏷️Reusable Price Tags: All our tags are made from cardboard and once you’re found your new favourite dress it’s price tag will be reused ready for the next one.

🛍️ Paper Bags for Purchases: Need a bag? We encourage customer to bring a reusable bag but don’t worry if you’ve left yours at home. We’ve you covered with our sturdy, reusable paper bags.

📱 Digital Recipes: We also offer text or email recipes to help cut down on printing and paper waste.

When it's time to refresh your wardrobe consider swapping and shopping pre-loved rather than buying new. Think of New-U and shop, swap, and stay eco-friendly with us. Together, we make a big difference, one small step at a time.

✅ Offer tailored work placements and mentoring to those furthest from employment and education.

👗 Provide affordable and sustainable clothing and accessories options through our pre-loved clothing shop, where you can swap and save even more with us.

🛍️ Support our community with monthly £1 clothing sales, clothing for those in need, and free smart wear for interviews.

♻️ Expand our upcycling hub to reduce textile waste, sharing repair and reuse skills and inspiring creativity.
