Norfolk Community Foundation Celebration Event
New-U was delighted to join the Norfolk Community Foundation at the stunning Bylaugh Hall to celebrate the difference local giving is making across Norfolk. Donors, partners and charities came together to reflect on the impact achieved so far, recognise the challenges many communities continue to face, and look ahead to what can be achieved next.
The evening gave us the chance to share how funding through programmes such as Love Norfolk and Building Skills for Better Futures has helped New-U create opportunities for people to build confidence, develop new skills and take positive steps towards employment.
Joining Project Manager Clare Francis were former work placement participants Morgana and Michael, along with volunteer mentor Abby. They spoke with guests about their own experiences and the difference these grants and programmes have made to their journeys, bringing to life the real impact that local giving has on the people and communities we support.
