A celebration to showcase fair trade and sustainable clothing, and products which help us to tread more lightly on the earth.
Friday 6th May 2022 – 7.30pm at Norwich Cathedral
Norwich Cathedral is hosting this exciting and innovative event, centred around a fashion show, to showcase clothing and other products which help us to reduce our impact on the environment or to live in a simpler and sustainable way.
Given that we all need to buy food and clothing, how can we choose our purchases carefully with thought for the world around us and our very real concerns for the future of the planet. Treading Lightly will illustrate some of the products which are available with these concerns in mind.
Clothing and other products which have been produced to give a fair wage and better living conditions for the farmers, growers, producers and makers; clothing which reuses once-used items and fabric offcuts, and clothing which uses organic fabrics, to reduce the environmental impact of the production processes, will all be on show.
