National Recycling Awards December 2021, London Hilton – New-U were finalists
Around 500 people were brought together by MRW’s National Recycling Awards on Wednesday night to celebrate the industry’s successes.
Hundreds of entries were submitted from across the UK’s resources spectrum, making the judging a tough process. The judges were heartened to see so many excellent ideas and initiatives, and they were particularly pleased by the number of collaborations taking place throughout the supply chain to find solutions.
Finalists and industry figures also gathered earlier at the daytime conference. This included panel discussions on how the industry could achieve net zero and what needs to happen post-COP26. The audience also heard from former National Recycling Award winner Borough Market and from University of Southampton’s professor Ian Williams.
